Private Clients

Private clients are those individuals and groups that are paying for the course themselves. They don’t have a company paying for or helping to pay for the course.

Commitment

To study with Stars of English, you must be committed. When you begin learning English with us, you agree that you are committed to working hard to improve your English level and that you will study and work diligently, including studying between 1-2 hours for every 1 hour of class.

We will discuss with you the dates and times that are best for you. Once a payment is received, we will book and begin your classes. Contact Stars of English to find out if the days and times you would like are currently available.

Prices

Twelve hours of classes are paid for up-front. Renewal payments are made when hours drops to 6. Clients that pay on time will keep their reserved spot. Clients always ask for a discounts, so we have provided discounts for 2 hour blocks.

  • Online Classes (Minimum class time is 1 hour)
    • $39.000 COP per hour ($468.000 COP–12 hour payment)
    • $34.000 COP per hour, discount for 2 hour classes ($408.000 COP–12 hour payment)
  • Classes at Your Location (Minimum class time at your location is 1.5 hours)
    • $44.000 COP per hour ($528.000 COP–Payment for 12 hours)
    • $39.000  COP per hour, discount for 2 hour classes ($468.000 COP–12 hour payment)
Payments

Clients can make deposits into one of the Stars of English bank accounts by either electronic transfer or by making a deposit at the counter. Contact Stars of English to let us know when you make the deposit. It usually takes 3 business days for your payment to post to the bank account. Once your payment posts, Stars of English will contact you to begin classes. Customers must pay up-front for 12 hours of classes. They must renew for 12 hours each time the hours drops to 6. This is to ensure that if a customer decides to not renew, we have time to look for a new client to fill that slot. Cancellation Policy

If a client cancels with less than 24 hours notice, the client must pay for the class. This is a standard in the industry. Clients do not have to pay for a class if they cancel with 24 hours or greater notice. Canceled classes must be taken within 30 days of the original class date. If not, the class will be lost. Clients should try to keep cancellations under 20%. This is an industry standard. If cancellations are 20% or greater, we may have to stop classes.
